有啊，出了小区大门往左拐，走大概两百米就能看到一家银行。
yǒu a, chū le xiǎoqū dàmén wǎng zuǒ guǎi, zǒu dàgài liǎng bǎi mǐ jiù néng kàndào yì jiā yínháng.
Yes there is. Once you exit the compound's main gate, turn left, and after about two hundred meters you'll see a bank.

太好了，那附近有邮局吗？我想寄个包裹回国。
tài hǎo le, nà fùjìn yǒu yóujú ma? wǒ xiǎng jì ge bāoguǒ huí guó.
Great! Then is there a post office nearby? I want to mail a package back to my home country.

邮局也有，不过方向不一样，它在银行对面那条街上。

There's a post office too, but it's in a different direction; it's on the street across from the bank.

你先走到那家银行，然后过马路，到对面再往前走一点儿就到了。
nǐ xiān zǒudào nà jiā yínháng, ránhòu guò mǎlù, dào duìmiàn zài wǎng qián zǒu yìdiǎnr jiù dào le.
First walk to that bank, then cross the road, and once you're on the other side, walk a bit further and you'll be there.

I see. So of these two places, which one is a bit closer to the compound?

肯定是银行近，走路差不多三分钟就到了，去邮局还得多走五分钟左右。
kěndìng shì yínháng jìn, zǒulù chàbùduō sān fēnzhōng jiù dào le, qù yóujú hái děi duō zǒu wǔ fēnzhōng zuǒyòu.
The bank is definitely closer—about a three-minute walk. Getting to the post office takes about five minutes more.
